Here’s a question… “Have you ever thought that you were put on this planet to do more than what you’re doing right now?”
My awakening to this exact question came in 2005.
I was a commander in the Navy and had spent three months in Indonesia, helping with the clean up of one of the worst natural disasters in history, the Boxing Day Tsunami.
A helicopter from our ship, a helicopter I was meant to be on, crashed killing nine of my close mates.
It was a moment that made me analyse everything. I asked myself, “should I be doing more with my life?”
I remember idolising people like Richard Branson and Bill Gates and how they’d used their success to make positive changes in society.
The more I researched, the more I started to see that entrepreneurs were the backbone of every country. They were the risk takers, the innovators and the instigators of change.
Entrepreneurs were the ones making a positive impact on our planet, not politicians. So, that’s the direction I took.
I’ve enjoyed success by collaborating with other successful entrepreneurs. From this, we’ve all been able to benefit the community around us.
